MIS would normally be celebrating World Smile Day today Friday 7th October.
In the Year 2022 this day of joy was immediately preceded by the tragedy in Utthai Sawan. In light of the tragic circumstances of events in Nong Bua Lamphu province, the Land of Smiles is in shock and mourning.
There are no smiles today. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and school in the town of Utthai Sawan.
We are all born with the ability to smile but as we get older sadly, we smile less.
Children smile about 400 times a day but the average adult only smiles about 20-40 times a day.
Smiling is a simple but powerful act. When other people see your smile, they smile too.
